Unfortunately and regrettably, we've had to cancel this year's Juneteenth Celebration and DC Music Festival.

After having been accepted and approved the past two years, our program format was not approved this year for reasons we feel showed a cultural insensitivity to the way we promote Black expression. Our fesitival is unfunded except by the kindness and generosity of the organizers who donate their talent and resources to the production of the event. That said, we simply did not have any extra energy nor resources to deal with the challenges to our submission. So the decision was made to come back with more thunder next year!

We look forward to seeing all at next year's Juneteenth Celebration and DC Music Festival!
